Anna Maria Angelini

July 26, 1957 ~ July 30, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anna Maria Angelini, on July 30 2025, at the age of 68. Born in Frosinone, Italy, Anna immigrated to America at just nine months old with her parents, Remo and Teresa, beginning a journey that would lead her to create a life filled with love and treasured memories. Raised in Jamaica, Queens, she soon moved to Smithtown, NY in the 1960s, where she would live for the remainder of her life.
Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. Her kind and gentle spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was the epitome of strength, grace, and love, always putting her family first and offering her wisdom without hesitation. She had a beautiful way of making everyone feel special. After years of fulfilling work as a talented hairdresser, she reinvented herself as a dedicated servant of the Smithtown School District, where she found new meaning working with children, especially supporting those with special needs, until her retirement. In retirement, she found great joy spending time in Florida with family and friends, where the sunshine and warm weather truly invigorated her spirits.
Anna is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Carlo, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her beloved sons, Paul and Mark; her dear daughter-in-law, Kim; and her treasured grandchildren — Benedetto, Teresa, Emilio, Dominic, Julia, and Jack — who brought her endless joy. Anna is also lovingly remembered by her brothers, Antonio and Franco, and their families, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She touched the lives of her entire extended family, including many cherished cousins, both near and far.
Her warmth, her laugh, and her unwavering devotion to family will forever remain in our hearts.

Pain and suffering has been taken away and took my dear friend too. Our lives may be separated but love and memories will always be alive in my heart. I will call out to you and hear your voice and see your face and know that a piece of you will always live with us. My deepest condolences to Carlo, Paul, Mark and their families.
I am so sorry for the loss of perhaps the most kind, loving & gentle souls I have ever known. She was a blessing to so many & was a lot of fun with her own special sense of humor. I will always remember Saturday nights with you all with steaks on the fireplace & sitting around the table each weekend with your folks, dancing at the discos when NuDawn closed
at night, how excited she was when she met Carlo that weekend in Schenectady, the most beautiful wedding, the births of Paul and Mark and so many more moments with her over the years. I often wish my path never led to Florida as I miss those days & am grateful for who she was as a person and the kindness & love she showed to my family & me and so I hope the memories each of you have of her give you comfort during this time and when you miss her most in the future. Sending love your way. I will be watching the live stream from Florida and will have you all in my heart and prayers.
May she rest in peace.
With love always,
Roseann (and from my brother Francis)
