Johnny, I will forever feel your strong hug and be thankful for being able to see you. My family and I have such beautiful memories of you and your family, growing up together. Your loss has devastated all of us. You will forever be in our hearts. Please rest in peace.

I’m Johnny’s cousin from Florida. We were closest in age and spent a lot of summers together growing up. Some of my best childhood memories are from summer in his big backyard in Islip—racing around, getting into trouble, and laughing nonstop. Johnny was full of energy, always up for anything, and had this wild sense of fun that made every day an adventure. I also remember the times we spent at their condo in Florida—long days at the pool, and just soaking up the chaos in the best way.

He was more than a cousin—he was my summer partner-in-crime. I’ll always remember those days and miss him deeply.
