John, I’m SO happy my parents chose you to be my godfather! I loved spending time with you & all the family at the house in Brooklyn. Even tho I was a little kid & you were a teenager or a little older way back then, you always took the time to talk with me. As the years went on, the family parties at your house were the best! You treated my kids like you treated me. Will love & miss you always. Big hugs to all the Buteras & Passalaquas up there with you. ❤️

John you were the star of Lennox Road bar-b-ques by the pool. Looked up to you always as my dive and swim coach! And your kindness to a skinny kid cousin. Thanks for the memories. ❤️

When we know someone as long as most of us have known John, it makes us feel most sad. We should rejoice in all the years he was with us and we enjoyed his company. We’re going to miss him.
