In Loving Memory of Vincent Branciforte September 23, 1928 — January 29, 2026 It is with both deep sadness and hopeful joy that we announce the passing of Vincent Branciforte, who departed this earthly world on January 29, 2026, at the age of 97. Vincent was born on September 23, 1928, and leaves behind a legacy defined by devotion to family and friends, unwavering generosity, strong faith, hard work, and passionate interests. Vincent was the cherished husband of the late Mildred with whom he shared a wonderful partnership spanning 58 years. Together they built a loving family raising five children: Mario (deceased), Vincent, Jeanne, Andrea, and Deanna. His loving care alongside a fervent example of a life lived fully helped shape the paths of not only his children’s lives but also those of his eight grandchildren — Angela, Kristina, Bethany, Andrew, Charles, Eric, Rebecca, and David. Gideon, Kira, Liliana, and Daphne — his four grandchildren, will undoubtedly be touched by his life as well. As Vincent’s life echoes down through the generations, it also resonates outwards to other family members so dear to him, neighbors, long time friends, and friends acquired in his final years. Vincent dedicated much of his life to the art and craft of printing, beginning his career at Keystone Process Printing. Through industriousness, integrity and vision, he rose to become the owner of the company, earning great regard from colleagues, employees, and clients alike. Both respecting and enjoying nature, Vincent exemplified what it is to be an outdoorsman. An avid camper, hunter, and fisherman, Vincent found great joy in the beauty of nature, sharing this passion with family and friends throughout his lifetime. Well into his nineties, daybreak would find Vincent casting his fishing line. In addition to the great outdoors, Vincent was a talented artist! He crafted stain glass lamps, photo frames, mirrors, window art, and led classes as well. His culminating masterpiece stands as a glorious window in his church. Vincent was a man of strong faith. He knew the Lord Jesus as savior, lord, and friend, ever holding tightly to the the promises of Scripture. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them from me… [Jesus’ words found in John Chapter 10, Verses 27,28] All in all, Vincent epitomized what it means to be a father, a friend, an uncle, a caregiver. He touched countless lives offering support, laughter, advise, his remarkable smile, and a helping hand to anyone in need. To know Vincent was to be welcomed as family; to be loved by him was to be blessed. In a word, Vincent was selfless. How pleased our selfless Savior must be to welcome him home! A celebration of Vincent’s life will be held at the Branch Funeral Home of Smithtown, NY on Sunday February 1, 2026 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held the following morning at 10AM followed by internment at Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery.

so sorry to learn of Vinny’s passing, I learned that we were birthday buddies when he turned 80 a few years ago, He and Mildred were always special to my family but he became even more special to me when I learned we had the same birthday. He was the most pleasant easy going man, never complained. He will be missed but will be in my heart forever.
RIP my cousin Vincent. You will be missed.
