January 24, 1966 ~ December 27, 2025

Suzanne Peach Eigl (Jensen), lovingly known as Sue and Nana, passed away peacefully at her home on December 27, 2025, surrounded by love. She was 59 years old, just weeks shy of her 60th birthday. Sue was born on January 24, 1966, and raised in Garden City, New York—a place she later returned to raise her own family. She was the beloved daughter of the late Harry F. Jensen and Marilyn F. Jensen (Peach), and was predeceased by her sister, Anita Jensen. She was a devoted wife to Jiri Eigl, a loving and selfless mother to Mandy, Joe, Katie, and Willie, and a cherished grandmother to Millie and Isabel, who were the light of her life and brought her endless joy. Sue built a career as a real estate broker and later found special fulfillment as a crossing guard, where she cared for neighborhood children with the same warmth, protectiveness, and kindness she showed everyone in her life. Incredibly strong, quick-witted, and deeply compassionate, Sue had a rare gift—she made people feel safe, welcome, and like family the moment they were near her. She loved the beach, quiet trips upstate, reading, and above all else, spending time with her family—especially her granddaughters. Her family was her greatest pride and purpose. Sue will be remembered as a bright and loving presence—gentle yet fiercely protective, endlessly giving, and the true heart of her family. She was the definition of a mom. Though our hearts are broken, we are forever shaped by the love she gave and the life she built. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Celebration of the Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Monday, January 5, 2026 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. 1. How I will miss you! The marathon phone calls, Long beach and Port Jefferson, the Trans Am, kayaking with you and me getting stuck under the dock when the ferry came by, Poconos, Ellenville and so much more. We met the first day of 9th grade and even then I knew I needed you in my life. You were the strong one, the one who shook sense into me when I had none. Your love for Jiri and your family was unmatched. Bestest nana ever! I love you Thelma, rest peacefully. Until we meet again,
    Always, Tricia
