February 1, 1938 ~ April 11, 2026

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Robert R. Milani. Robert passed away
peacefully on April 11, surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born February 01, 1938
to parents Panfilio and Theresa, in Brooklyn NY.
Robert and his wife Helene were 60-year residents of Smithtown, where they raised their
family and established many lifelong friendships along the way.
He was a mechanical engineer/manager at Grumman Bethpage for 25+ years, but Robert’s
priority was always his own family. Once retired, he devoted much of his life to spending
quality time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Robert, who is predeceased by his parents and siblings, is survived by wife Helene, his
three children (William (Angela), Robert (Donna) and Janine (Robert), 9 grandchildren
(Morgan, Rachel, Cole, Lilah, Alexandra, Robert and step grandsons Paul, Timothy and
