With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Mariana Alarcon, who passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born in Ecuador, Mariana lived a life centered on love, family, faith, and service to others. She was the devoted wife of the late Cesar Alarcon, with whom she shared an extraordinary 51½ years of marriage. Together, they built a life founded on commitment, sacrifice, and unconditional love.

A talented seamstress by profession, Mariana dedicated many years of her life to her craft. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and determination were evident in everything she did. She approached life with purpose and perseverance, never shying away from hard work and always seeing every task through to completion.

To know Mariana was to experience her generosity and warmth. Her home was a place where everyone was welcomed with open arms and a meal prepared with love. She had a special gift for making people feel like family. The moment you walked through her door, she would insist on feeding you, making sure you felt cared for and at home. She took others under her wing, nurturing and guiding them as if they were her own children. Her advice often came freely—not because she wanted to interfere, but because she sincerely wanted the very best for those she loved.

One of Mariana’s greatest passions was cooking. Home-cooked meals were her love language. Dining out was never really her preference because she believed there was nothing better than a meal prepared in her own kitchen. Whether it was a simple weekday dinner or a holiday gathering, she cooked year-round with pride, ensuring that no one ever left her table hungry. Many of her family’s most treasured memories were created around the meals she lovingly prepared.

Mariana also loved her morning walks. She walked with such energy and determination that few could keep up with her pace. Friends and family often joked that she could outwalk anyone. Those walks reflected her spirit—strong, disciplined, and always moving forward.

While she was hardworking and determined, Mariana also possessed a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh, make others laugh, and bring joy to everyday moments. Her wit, cheerful personality, and ability to find humor even in life’s challenges made her a delight to be around and created countless memories that her family will cherish forever.

Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family. Mariana was the loving mother of Maria Ferraris, Sandra Nolasco, and Cesar Alarcon. Her Children In Law; David Ferraris, Juan Nolasco and Xiomara Alarcon. Following the birth of her second grandchild, she retired to dedicate herself fully to being a grandmother. She played an instrumental role in helping raise her grandchildren, showering them with love, guidance, support, and treasured memories that they will carry with them forever. She was the proud and devoted grandmother of Adalee, Matthew, Jayden, Jaeden, Gianna, Thomas, David, Sophia, and Julian. She was also the cherished “grandmother” to her beloved furry companions, Tibby, Toby, Tyson, and Taz. Her children and grandchildren were truly the center of her world, and there was nothing she would not do for them.

Mariana’s legacy is one of selfless love, unwavering devotion, generosity, and strength. She leaves behind a family strengthened by her example and countless lives enriched by her friendship, wisdom, humor, and compassion.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, abuela, hermana y amiga, Mariana Alarcón, quien partió en paz el 12 de junio de 2026, a la edad de 80 años.

Nacida en Ecuador, Mariana vivió una vida centrada en el amor, la familia, la fe y el servicio a los demás. Fue la devota esposa del fallecido Cesar Alarcon, con quien compartió unos extraordinarios 51 años y medio de matrimonio. Juntos construyeron una vida basada en el compromiso, el sacrificio y el amor incondicional.

Costurera talentosa de profesión, Mariana dedicó muchos años de su vida a su oficio. Su sólida ética de trabajo, atención al detalle y determinación eran evidentes en todo lo que hacía. Afrontaba la vida con propósito y perseverancia, sin temer al trabajo arduo y llevando siempre cada tarea hasta su conclusión.

Conocer a Mariana era experimentar su generosidad y calidez. Su hogar era un lugar donde todos eran recibidos con los brazos abiertos y una comida preparada con amor. Tenía un don especial para hacer que las personas se sintieran parte de la familia. En cuanto cruzabas su puerta, insistía en ofrecerte algo de comer, asegurándose de que te sintieras cuidado y como en casa. Acogía a los demás bajo su protección, cuidándolos y guiándolos como si fueran sus propios hijos. Sus consejos llegaban con frecuencia, no porque quisiera entrometerse, sino porque sinceramente deseaba lo mejor para quienes amaba.

Una de las mayores pasiones de Mariana era la cocina. Las comidas caseras eran su forma de expresar amor. Comer fuera de casa nunca fue realmente lo suyo, porque creía que no había nada mejor que una comida preparada en su propia cocina. Ya fuera una cena sencilla entre semana o una reunión festiva, cocinaba durante todo el año con orgullo, asegurándose de que nadie se levantara de su mesa con hambre. Muchos de los recuerdos más preciados de su familia se crearon alrededor de las comidas que preparaba con tanto cariño.

Mariana también disfrutaba de sus caminatas matutinas. Caminaba con tanta energía y determinación que pocos podían seguir su ritmo. Amigos y familiares solían bromear diciendo que podía caminar más que cualquiera. Esas caminatas reflejaban su espíritu: fuerte, disciplinado y siempre avanzando.

Aunque era trabajadora y decidida, Mariana también poseía un maravilloso sentido del humor. Le encantaba reír, hacer reír a los demás y llevar alegría a los momentos cotidianos. Su ingenio, personalidad alegre y capacidad para encontrar humor incluso en los desafíos de la vida hacían que fuera un placer estar a su lado y crearon innumerables recuerdos que su familia atesorará para siempre.

Su mayor alegría y el logro del que más se sentía orgullosa era su familia. Mariana fue la amorosa madre de Maria Ferraris, Sandra Nolasco y César Alarcon.Sus higos yernos David Ferraris, Juan Nolasco y su yerna Xiomara Alarcon. Tras el nacimiento de su segundo nieto, se jubiló para dedicarse por completo a ser abuela. Desempeñó un papel fundamental en la crianza de sus nietos, colmándolos de amor, orientación, apoyo y recuerdos inolvidables que llevarán consigo para siempre. Fue la orgullosa y dedicada abuela de Adalee, Matthew, Jayden, Jaeden, Gianna, Thomas, David, Sophia y Julian. También fue la querida “abuela” de sus adoradas mascotas Tibby, Toby, Tyson y Taz. Sus hijos y nietos eran verdaderamente el centro de su mundo, y no había nada que no estuviera dispuesta a hacer por ellos.

El legado de Mariana es uno de amor, devoción inquebrantable, generosidad y fortaleza. Deja atrás una familia fortalecida por su ejemplo y muchas vidas enriquecidas por su amistad, sabiduría, sentido del humor y compasión.

Aunque nuestros corazones están destrozados por su partida, encontramos consuelo al saber que su amor seguirá viviendo a través de sus hijos, nietos y de todos aquellos que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla.

La extrañaremos profundamente, la amaremos por siempre y la recordaremos eternamente.
