  1. Al, you were so special. Thank you for all the fun and beautiful memories, especially at the parties here in Leisure Knoll. Prayers of strength, support, and healing for your beloved Jeannie. Neal & Ellen Oldis

  2. Rest In Peace Al, you were a true gentleman , we were happy to be your neighbors , and live directly across from you and Jeannie, we loved hearing you practice your trumpet , we had the best seat in the house, our lawn chairs. We will miss your friendly smile and warm hello. Prayers to Jeannie and all who loved you Nancy & Neal Pizzariella🙏

  3. Steve and I are heartbroken for your loss. Al was a great guy and will be sorely missed. Please know we are here for you Jeannie.
    Carol & Steve Szambel

  4. As we all are, I am so sorry for your loss. Al was such a nice man with a great smile and always lots of fun at our community parties. May he rest in peace. Jeannie, may you and your family be comforted knowing he will always be with you in your hearts and wonderful memories.
    Very Sincerely, Cathy Smith

  5. I’m going to miss you Uncle Al. I am so grateful for having you in my life as you always took time to love and recognize the people around you. You were honest, humble, generous, gentle and you brought a smile to all who knew you. Rest in peace, and I will forever cherish my memories with you.
    With Love, Brian

  6. My heart is broken. There aren’t many friendships that last 58 years. You left way too soon my friend. I know God has set a special place for you as you are truly one of the good guys. We share a bond that cannot be broken. That bond continues even now and one day we will see each other again. I love you.

  7. My condolences on Al’s passing.
During a family discussion Al’s name came up and led to a search which brought me here. My name is Mario Brienza. I used to play keyboards in a band called “The Second Version” with Al from 1968 thru 1973. We were mostly a wedding band.
The time line section of this site contains a photo of the band. Left to right is: Dominick Brienza, (guitar) Larry Cerillo (sax) , Stony Love (drummer) Alfred (trumpet) and myself Mario Brienza. This photo is from the late 1960’s maybe 1970. Those were great years and a lot of fun. Dominick, Stony and Al are gone. We have no clue what ever happened to Larry.

I just wanted to remember Alfred and express my sympathy to Al’s wife, family and friends. May God grant him rest and peace until we meet again.

    Mario Brienza 🙏
