  5. Sorry your grandkids have estranged themselves from Mom and me. Horrible what they have done along with others. Just know we all love you and everyone has a moment they will have to face God!1

    • If the narrative you want to portray is that your kids stopped speaking to you for no reason, that is okay. You’re right — we will all face God. That includes men who cheat on their wives, dismantle their families, walk away from their children, and then try to take the home they left behind. Calling it ‘estrangement’ doesn’t erase how it began. It was the result of your betrayal and dishonesty with your children and wife. Grandpa’s obituary is not the place to rewrite history or position yourself as the victim. If you truly want to have this conversation, start by speaking directly to your children instead of using our grandfather’s obituary as a platform. As for Grandma — she was a ‘horrible mother’ in your words, and we didn’t speak to her for most of our childhood because of your decision. That speaks volume. God will see the truth whether it’s written here or not. You may attempt to control the narrative, but you cannot outrun the truth.

    • Since you are such a godly man, you should be familiar with these Bible verses.
Proverbs 19:9 — “A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will perish

Proverbs 6:32 — “But a man who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself.”
