You are all dearly loved. Mom and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the entire Giuffre family— you’re all in our hearts during this challenging time. Over the past few days, my wife and I have been reflecting on the cherished and bittersweet memories from our years in New York, a testament to the love and impact you’ve all shared.
What an amazing video and photo collection—thank you so much for sharing! That picture of Manny with the hairdryer? Pure gold—it flooded me with more then a few memories! We had one too, and I can still hear my Dad teasing all of us about it for a solid hour when we lived in West Islip. It’s those little, goofy moments that make us smile when we look back.
My condolences to Paul and the Giuffrè family,
I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, Paul. Having experienced it recently myself I will say that you go through many emotions and even with our resurrection hope the sadness can be profound at times, especially in the beginning…. In time though, a sense of peace comes over you and the pain subsides and you’ll find yourself thinking about something you will want to tell him in the future. Your dad was very much like my dad, the biggest part of our family, the one we all looked up to for guidance and the final word of approval : ) You’ll always hear his distinct voice in your head and the memories of moments you shared and certain traits of his that made you chuckle (or wince lol) will become a comfort to you. No one’s memory is greater than Jehovah’s and it’s amazing how that promise of a resurrection becomes ever more real and comforting as the days pass. I hope you, your mom, Donna, David and their families can experience that peace from Jehovah. Wishing you all well, Valerie (Loiacono) Tagliavia Eltingville Cong SINY
