When we see a Vietnam vet, we say “welcome home”. We do this because they were not welcomed home back then. That being said, welcome home COL Endres. Welcome home and thank you for your service. Rest In Peace warrior, for we have the watch…
Rod, as he was known as a kid, will be ever remembered with a special place in our shared family history in the early days in the 50’s & 60’s in Bayside & Flushing, Queens. My condolences to all the Endres family. R.I.P. Roddy
Condolences and love and prayers ❤️🙏

Semper Fi” rest easy Marine!
I am part of all that I have met. We’ll always be here for Gerry Boy. Rest in peace my Brother. Love & Prayers. Daling & Family
Our family lived on The Waterway in Manhasset just down the street from the Endres. Rod was several years older, mature, an upper classman at St Mary’s and more sophisticated than me. I only knew Rod to say hello. However, when I first came home from Vietnam, he invited me to have some beers and conversation. Besides my family, Rod was one of the few who welcomed me home. Thank you Rod and Semper Fi from an appreciative Army grunt! Rest easy Hero, you earned it!
On behalf of my late husband, condolences to Endres family…very sorry for your loss. Special hugs to cousin Kevin.
On behalf of my late husband Joe Hickey and myself, our condolences to the Endres family. Sorry for your loss. Special hugs to cousin Kevin.
Solid as a rock and one of my favorite Endres brothers. I’ll always remember his kind words and guidance during tough times. He would know. He took care of us during deployment and even let me shoot his gun 😂. Got me to love Joni Mitchell and Judy Collins. Much love to all who loved him. I sure did.
Grateful to have crossed paths briefly with Jerry, a special man. His kindness to me while at Marquette definitely left a lasting impression. Recently happened upon this, so I feel sadness and relay my belated condolences to family and friends.
