John A. Cacace

John A. Cacace, 83, of Commack, New York passed away on March 16, 2023.

Pre-deceased by his father, Richard, his mother, Filomena, and his sister, Phyllis. Beloved husband of Clorinda, devoted father to his children, Bridget (Roderick) and John (Fernando), and darling grandfather to his grandchildren, Sophia and Aidan.

John was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Commack in the 1960s. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts studying History at City College. His first job was at the Social Security Administration. Later, working his way through the ranks at Bankers Life & Casualty, he became Executive Vice President. He retired in 2004.

John always had a book in hand. He was an avid reader. He followed his sports teams, the Giants, the Yankees, the Rangers and the Knicks, and, of course, Notre Dame Football. He enjoyed travel and visited many places including Egypt, China, Japan, Europe, Australia and South America.
