Lewis A. Lilla
April 4, 1967 ~ July 27, 2024
Lewis A. Lilla was born April 4, 1967 to Maxine Simon & Lewis John Lilla. Louie married the love of his life, his beloved wife, Caroline Lilla, on July 9, 1989, and together they built a beautiful life. His life will forever be cherished in his three children, Richard M. Lilla, Amanda A. Vitale, and Mario J. Lilla. Through the marriage of Amanda to Michael Vitale, Lewis gained another son who he loved like his own.
Louie held many titles in his life, but of all the titles he held, his favorite was Pop-Pop Louie to his three incredible grandchildren, Dominic Lewis (3), Scarlett Ann (2), and Juliette Aida (1).
“Louie was a cherished God father to three of his nieces, Mia Causi, an honor bestowed upon him from his little sister, Romina Causi and brother-in-law, Anthony Causi (predeceased). He also had the honor of being Godfather to Celina Seferian & Tamara Seferian. Louie was a force in our family. He is survived by his mother, Maxine Simon, Mother in Law, Aida Seferian, brother Gerard Della badia, Sister-in-law & their children. He was a beloved Uncle to David Ianelli, Alexa Ianelli, John Causi and a host of Nieces & Nephews.”
Louie will forever be remembered for the loving and kind family man he was. He possessed a distinguished career as a Homicide Detective with the New York City Police Department for 14 years. His confidence and determination allowed him to be the successful businessman he was in several corporations that he started, including North Shore Investigations, Affordable Bails NY and Dynamic Protection Group.
Louie’s humor, compassion, and selflessness has left an imprint on everyone’s life he touched. He was everybody’s “guy.” You needed to be bailed out of jail – “call Louie” you needed the name of a good lawyer “call louie” you needed help hanging a picture frame “call louie” you needed a laugh “call louie” you needed a martini “call louie” you needed anything at all, everyone knew to “call Louie.”
He will be Forever missed and cherished. His legacy will be kept alive in the hearts of those who loved him.

Condolences to the family.
Lewis was without a doubt an amazing man. He was a pillar of strength for his family, friends, coworkers and company.
I will certainly miss those Wednesday morning team calls, random calls to complain, and bouncing ideas around.
I appreciate him and the company taking me under their wing and making me feel appreciated. Til we meet again captain.

God Bess you Lew!
Amanda and family, sending you so much love and peace during this difficult time.
Louie, you will be missed Brother! Thank you for believing in me and bringing me in to the Dynamic Protection Group family. You are a man that I look up to and someone I could go to for advice no matter what.
Thank you for always being there for me.
I pray for God’s comfort and peace to be upon the Lilla family during these difficult times.
Psalm 116:15 KJV
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
Don’t shed a tear for Louie, even though you may want to. Louie would prefer we just think about our time together and laugh. You were never safe with Louie around. Not in the police car, the hotel room or even the toilet. Lou could give it to you pretty good but he could also take it when you gave it back to him. God has gained an angel with an incredible love of his family work ethic, and the best sense of humor. My recommendation is that Saint Peter should start locking the bathroom door just in case Lou may be around with a Polaroid camera. 📷.
Love you Pal. Thanks for your friendship
RIP my brother

Thelaine Adams my condolences goes out to Louie family . May God continue to keep his family in this time of sorrow
I only knew Louie for a short time , He was the one who made me feel like an important person and HELPED me to be a Member of the Dynamic Family!!!
Lewis what can I say. You and I go back to the early 90’s when we were both in the 109 pct along with so many other great men and women that created some of my best memories on the job. Fast forward 30 years and we were both business owners in the security world. I was so impressed with your “ civilian abilities to excel in the business world outside the. NYPD. I was always flattered when you would call me for advice when it came to corporate decisions because you have done an incredible job building your businesses. So when you came to me join forces and be your consigliere iwith Dynamic Protection Group, I was excited and knew it would be a good match. We had so many great ideas and plans .and between the both of us there wasn’t a contact or “ guy” we couldn’t reach or actually know. I already miss talking to you 3 times a day, I miss you on Wednesdays team meetings when we would sign on 30 minutes early to share a cup of coffee and bust each others balls as well as everyone else that slowly signed on. We had big plans that I know would of propelled Dynamic to the next level. I admire the CEO that you were, the husband , father , and grandfather, I know how yeah much your family meant to you and how much you adored those precious grandchildren that Amanda and Mike gave you. You earned and deserved all the success you had. You didn’t deserve this early departure from this world. You will be sorely missed by all that have had the pleasure of knowing you. Love you pal. 💔
Lewis was my role model since the day we first spoke back in 2020 when I was just working as a part time police officer. Lewis always gave me advice on how to go about and be the best officer and taught me so much from his experiences.
Lewis was looked up not just as my supervisor, but a family member he was always there for me no matter what. I will never forgot this hero and it’s so hard to digest this heart breaking news. My prayers and condolences and thoughts go out to his family and kids. May GOD bless them and I will do anything to keep his business running strong!
My deepest condolences…..He was such a gentleman.
RIP Lou
Was a pleasure to have worked with you. God bless your family 🙏
Lew will be missed. Although I hadn’t seen him in a while, he stopped me at ballgame some years back. He decided to mess around with me because yes we aged but he recognized me and started quizzing and joking around with me. When I finally realized that it was him, I immediately started busting his chops like we did so many years ago at the change of tours or while on patrol. He was always quick with a joke but just laughed when he was getting the business too. Good cop and great man. My condolences go out to his family. You can never take away his spirit nor the memories that you shared. That is forever in our hearts and memories. RIP Lewie
You were unique my Brother. You were a mentor, you were a man of wisdom every time we spoke you have already it wasn’t about the job only but first and foremost you were a Father for us and family were a priority. I know that God have a special for you . It is not a farewell, it is just a good bye. I will be missing you boss. My deepest Condolences to the close family of dynamic Protection. We have lost a great man. Let’s keep the legacy going. I will keep your in my prayer.
May He Rest In Eternal Peace!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
