Love, The Waxman Family
Rest in peace. Missing for all the family and friends. Praying for the family. Love
Thinking of you all at this very difficult time. This is a tremendous loss.
Nick we will miss you
Nick for me and I will speak for my parents, was a special light, for us over 50 years of getting to know him, spending very special family times together, whether it be just a family dinner in Freeport on a Tuesday night, or a huge family gathering at Christmas, these were always special times. Nick always made us feel more than who we were, his house was our house. Our families grew together and we watched a business bloom and grow, ups and downs and more. Everyone should be as blessed as we in having a guy like Nick in our lives. I love ya Nick, you will always be in my ♥️. Chris
Only you know how much I will miss you. You were my rock and will be in my thoughts forever.
Rest in peace my dear friend knowing you left behind a forever lasting legacy of love and strength.
With love your friend, brother and partner, Larry
Nick, It’s difficult to put into words what the heart feels. John and I have so many memories of our families sharing so many happy times together. We have seen our children grow into adults and loving parents. We share three loving and amazing grandchildren. You gave Kathryn her first pony ride when she was a baby, Johnny that first ice cream cone and Nicholas his first car. The memories are many as are our tears. Rest In Peace dear Nick and when we see our grandchildren we will see you, knowing that you were loved and never forgotten .
You have your beautiful family to help you through these rough times.
Nick was a wonderful person.
Love Emilie and Frank
Why did you have to leave us so soon? What are we suppose to do now? There were more presidential elections we could have bet on. I’m sorry you always lost. Who is going to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about? Did you leave that job to Doug?
the memories!
Who will tease me and bust my chops?
You built a financial empire with Larry and a family empire with Jane.
You were an extraordinary man with extraordinary accomplishments.
You were a humble role model in every possible way.
But, no one Nick, could ever take your place. No one, not ever!
Thank you for wearing the bow tie you hated for the SSPJ gala.
Thank you for driving me to Sloan and for letting my family park at one of your construction sites. Thanks for taking Angie to dinner.
There’s a million things to say thank you for. The cherished ones are the fun & funny ones. Those memories will be cherished forever.
You fought a great fight Nick but God needed you in Heaven. We had to let you go.
Jane said when you got to heaven you probably told God “These gates are in lousy condition! Where’s the tool box? “
There are no words left other than…
Through the Years you never let us down.
Thanks for
Rest In Peace Nick in God’s magnificent home that HE built for YOU!
Love you dearly and forever.
Heartfelt sorrow I will never forget my nephew, Nick. May he Rest In Peace. Thoughts and prayers to Jane and the rest of his fabulous family. You all gave him the utmost care. God Bless You. Love, Uncle Pete
This is hard…your leaving us has left a gaping hole in our hearts and in our family. I am so sad this past year confined us all away from you in your last days.. in our family there were a few men know who lived life ‘their way’… or lets say on their terms….
And they were very dear to my heart and at their core good people… however they managed…. But Nick? Nick I think most would agree did the same. Nick…he lived life his way… he certainly did…and he also managed. He managed to be kind, he managed to be successful, humble, generous and welcoming to again, and I think all would agree… to everyone. To his family, friends, the painter, the friend of a friend and even the person who broke into his house last winter and used it as a club house…his home was always open, to everyone, whenever, where ever and however.
I only know a part of Nick, the family part. And though I wasn’t able to see him over the last few months, I hope, I pray, he knows how I appreciate all he and Jane have done for me and especially my parents – growing up in our teens… Liz and I were in and out of their home pretty much every day. I could name 2 marriages and 4 pretty great young adults that would not exist if it weren’t for Jane & Nick… so what I want to really say is… Thank you, for the fun, the laughter, all you’ve done for me personally , my family and my parents… I am eternally grateful. I will miss you. Rest peacefully
Forever to me. You ,truly have been a father to me. Thank you for all the memories you and your family have shared. Thank you for including me. Rest in peace. I will miss you more than you’ll ever know.
Much love to all during this difficult time
From,
Peter, Mary Elizabeth, Matthew, Nicholas, and Meredith

Words cannot express how much we
love and respect you! You welcomed
Stacey into your home and family and in doing so joined our two families together. What a blessing for all
us! Your faith, humor, generosity, and love of family and friends are just some of the gifts that you passed to
your children and grandchildren. While the loss is tremendous the blessings
are many.
