they walk beside us every day…
unseen, unheard, but always near,
still loved, still missed, and very dear.
May Phil’s memory be eternal.
Mr Gambino and his million dollar smile gave all of us kids a real sense of what a gentleman should be. Always gracious, always kind and giving of himself and his time. I used to love going to the Gambino who lives across the street from me to watch Sunday football with Mr G I used to enjoy watching him watch the game so intently lol. I did that a few times until Mrs Gambino gave me veggies to snack on and that was the last game we shared! Lol. As I got older I sat with Mr Gambino at one of the grandkids events and we talked about my career in HR. He gave me some great public speaking advice and great books from Dale Carnegie. I still break them out on occasion if I feel a little anxious. He helped me to overcome that fear not with “just doing it” but education and arming myself with knowledge. I’m so sorry he got so sick in the end but from what I hear his grace remained strong as did his mind and soul. God bless you all… I was so blessed to call you all family. Love, Michelle the brat from across the street xoxo!
What a beautiful tribute. To all the family, my heartfelt condolences. My memories are many and full of love, laughs and life. A class act and incredible human being. Big hugs to all.
Rest in peace Phil.
We are forever connected as the existential family in our life at Flour City Architectural Metals.
There is remembrance from your brothers in arms. Peace brother
My heart felt condolences to the Gambino family, I worked at Flour City, and Phil was one of the classiest human being I met there. May the wonderful memories help you during these sad moments.
Rest In Peace Phil.
Rest In Peace my dear cousin.
