Tommasina… I can’t sum up the words for our 30 years of friendship.. I have been trying to think of the right thing to say and post.. I just can’t, I am heartbroken.. as are so many of the innumerable lives you have touched..ESPECIALLY the many CHILDREN you have introduced to the guitar and drums in the past 10 or so years..
You have left quite a legacy in your wake..
NEVER to be forgotten .. I love you, my dear friend, and I hope you are resting in peace, love, happiness and rock ‘n’ roll in Heaven..
Always in our hearts, Laura and Nicky ♥️

TH,
I’m still in shock and disbelief. I didn’t get to see you all that often, but when I did it never felt like there was a lapse in time.
Your upbeat and infusing personality touched everyone with such ease.
You’re free now to be who you always were down here, but with no limitations and on the grandest scale of all.

I just saw you a few months ago, doing what you loved, listening to music. I will remember your kind, warm way, sharing dieting tips, laughs, and great conversations. Although I’m so glad I got to really know you, it makes this so incredibly sad. RIP 🙏🏻
Couple quick memories. Years ago in your livingroom cranking up Hardline and having a great time. But I think one of my most favorite moments was at a wedding when you and I sat there getting in our debate on who is better. You were all about John Sykes and I kept ramming George Lynch down your throat. LOL. You were getting so heated over it.
You will be deeply missed by all. You my friend will always stand out, because you were a one of a kind.
See you in the next world
You left us unexpectedly so many of us loved you & will miss you forever May your journey be beautiful
Rest easy Tommy.
We may have only met a handful of times but chatted a lot on Facebook. Regardless , you left a big impact on me as well as countless others. Rest easy Tommy. 🙏😔🙏
Just thinking music was your first love. Glad we chatted about a month ago. You will be missed. Your cousin Maureen and family.
My first Smithtown friend. So many great memories
Thank you for always taking my Tom Petty requests. You came along way from the halls of Smithtown West walking around in your brown leather vest, signature Tommy. Guitars up rest in peace.
People sometimes wonder if they will be missed or thought of after they are gone. Clearly you made many many special friendships and special memories with so many people. With that great smile , your big heart and your music you made an everlasting impression on the world. I met you when you were five years old and only saw you once or twice in recent years but my heart is so sad that you are gone. Now your brightness will shine in heaven. Rest in Peace Tommy Helbig.
Rest in glorious peace Tommy. I already miss your singing and you laughing. Almighty God must need you.more than we do. Much love and memories always. Keep smiling and singing and rocking. You will not be forgotten . Go catch up with my Mike . Love you 🥰 🙏🏻💔💔💔💔. You weee a rockstar ⭐️⭐️⭐️🎈
