Amelia Fernandez, age 96, of Middle Island, New York died Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Amelia was born June 8, 1924 in Spain. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Carmen (Cividanes) Mosquera. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Fernandez in 1996. She is survived by two loving sons, Joseph Fernandez and Edward Fernandez, and one dear sister, Alice Jimenez. She also has five cherished grandchildren and six precious great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her Loving Daughter, Diane Ciccarelli. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Burial will be in Washington Memorial Park, Mount Sinai, New York on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours will be Friday, December 11, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home. Social distancing mandates will be followed. Masks are required. Please be mindful that visitors are limited to 30 people in the building at a time and be respectful to those who may be waiting to visit by keeping your stay brief, if possible.
