We are sorry that we are unable to attend the visitation today. I do have a fond memory of Ann that I would like to share with you.
I had only met her briefly once or twice when your family had an event in the Miller Place Fire Department recreation room. I saw her sitting a few tables away. I was not sure she would remember me, but I decided to say hello anyway. As I approached her table she looked up and saw me. To my surprise not only did she recognize me, but she called out my name! We had a lovely conversation. From that moment on I could see she was truly a kind, caring, gracious lady.
