Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My beautiful,fun-loving Aunt Ann. I will always remember how much fun you were…You always had a smile on your face. I have nothing but great family memories being at your house! I know my Dad, Uncle Joe and Delores are welcoming you with open arms…and Honey and Poppa have their angels back home. We will all join you one day but till then, there is a hole in my heart. I love and miss you already.

  2. Words cannot express our sorrow. Dylan and I are so very happy to have spent some time with Aunt Ann at the last reunion. Lynn and Jimmy, you were blessed with an amazing Mother. So many childhood memories with you Aunt Ann. Swimming in your pool, dinners with Honey and Poppa and watching you all playing cards and laughing. I am sure my Dad has a great card table waiting for you up there! Please know you will be missed. Until we meet again. We love you all and we are praying for you.

  3. Unfortunately, all too often, we loose touch with people who have played a large role in our lives as we get older, move away, get jobs, have families and get caught up in day to day life. That’s certainly how I feel about Ann or Miss Messina. She was a second mother to me growing up, as outside of my own mother and house, I spent more time at Jimmy’s house than anywhere else. She was also the only other person who called my by my nickname growing up ( outside of my own Mom). She always had a smile for us and seemed to know when we were up to something. I always appreciated her advice and am sure we didn’t follow thru on some hijinks because of that look she would give us. I can’t eat chipped beef on toast without thinking of her as she made that for Jimmy and I 10,000 times. I still crack up when I think about what she called it.A lot of great memories and stories allow me to remember her.She was a very goof friend to my Mom and for that I will always be grateful.

  4. Terry, Susan, Cathleen and I want to express our condolences to Jimmy and Lynn and their families as well as all those who are saddened by Ann’s passing all too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you move thru this difficult period being comforted by remembering the times you had with her, her love for you and that great laugh and twinkle in her eye.
