Anna Rozek Zimmerman
Anna was born February 26, 1917 in Baltimore, Maryland. She grew up in Glen Lyon and Nanticoke, Pennsylvania and moved to Brooklyn when she was 18. There she met her husband, Charlie. Anna attended business school and worked as an inspector for Ford Instrument during World War II and later for Kollsman Instruments. In 1952 the couple moved to Mineola where they raised their sons Charlie and Richard. Anna was widowed in 1998. She lived in her own home until she was 98. She recently lived at The Arbors Assisted where she celebrated her 106th birthday in February. She was Mom to Charlie and Mary Ellen and Richard and Mary Ellen. She was Grandma to Sandra, Janet, Richard, Bethann, Charles J., and Diana. She was Great Grandma to Lillian, Julia, Bailey, Benjamin, Evan, Taylor, Joseph and Colette. Anna was amazing and loved by all.
