Anthony A Russo was born on January 3rd 1934 in Astoria, Queens, the youngest son of Francis J. Russo and Hedwig Russo (nee Christian). Anthony had two older siblings (who predeceased him), a sister Frances and a brother Vincent.
His late wife, Antonia Evangelina (Vangie) Russo was the love of his life. They were married 65 years at the time of her passing.
He was a graduate of Textile High School, a technical school whose curriculum included design, drafting and art. He worked in NYC as Graphic Designer and Assistant to the Creative Director for Tarlow Agency. He won an award (his industry’s equivalent of an Oscar) for his commercial on TV and in print for British Airways.
He is survived by his daughter Frances Rizzotto and son-in-law Robert; and his son, Anthony Russo, and daughter-in-law Marianne and their children Jazmin, Kaya, Ellie and Reilly.
