Of all the special gifts in life, however great or small, to have you as a cousin was the greatest gift of all. Cousins like you can never part, you’ll always have a place in our hearts. For those we love don’t go away, they’ll be besides us every day!

Dear friend the first time we met was the first day of our sophomore year at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School (9/7/1954. I was nervous since it looked like most of my classmates were not the same freshman year. As I was pondering this fact you walked up to me and asked me for my name and only after I replied you told me yours. It impressed me that it was more important that you knew who I was than for me to know who you were. You had put me ease with that gesture and our 70 years friendship began. Your whole life you spent putting people at ease. You were the bright light that made our lines better. I cherish our long friendship. Our Alma Mater’s slogan is “live Jesus in our hearts forever). You lived by that motto. Know that you will live in our hearts forever.
