  9. Talked to an old coworker yesterday from Medsite and heard the horrible news. I Really hope his time after Medsite was as great as when I knew him, he really was an amazing guy. He hired me at Medsite back in the day at 45 a year, and I took the job thinking, well, at least it pays better than teaching english in Japan, that was the level of desperation I was in. After I got my first pay check, I was like WTF!!! this dude meant $45 an hour! I was rich! Hahaha. Anyways, he put me on my path as a flash developer and today i still code for a living but really, I owe a lot of where I am today to him. He was a really great guy and never can forget his charm, his smile, and his giggling that always lightened up the room. Man, I smile just thinking about his face. He was one of those guys that didn’t leave a mark, he left a dent! My deep condolences to his family and friends.
