Arleen, You were so loved by all of the people and animals at Little Shelter and will be missed by all. I was privileged to have you as my friend for over twenty years. RIP
To her family I send my sincere condolences, and please remember to breathe during these difficult times.
She was one in a million.
My dear friend Arleen, I hope you are resting peacefully now. You are one of the most dedicated, hard working person I know. You put your heart and soul into everything you did whether it was your beautiful family, politics or caring for animals. We shared a lot of good memories and had a lot of good laughs. You were a beautiful person, inside and out. Rest in peace.
So kind and compassionate. Your smile always made everyone feel welcome and appreciated from the volunteers to the staff . Your heart was put into everything you did over the years at Little Shelter . I’ll always have memories when you were walking Clara you would stop me when I was with a dog to find out all about them , their name and where they came from .,you really cared so much . You would say “she is the cutest and will find a home soon I just know it .“. May peace and love surround you .
Lorraine
Dear Arlene,
I had the pleasure of knowing and working with you for several years. Your commitment to animals was inspiring. I often think of you fondly, and always will. Peace.
You were a good friend. You will be missed!
‘Angel’ on earth!
I always loved seeing you when I visited Little Shelter. Michael was very fond of you and he often spoke of you and your endless devotion to the dogs and cats. You will not be forgotten and your memory will live on in all of our hearts.
Your kindnesses will always make me smile; just knowing you still held my father in your thoughts after working with him all those years @ OTB was a major part of your ability to see good in everything. Thank you for sharing your journey with us… my family wishes you much peace.

Your caring and empathy were palpable; you have blessed me and so many others.
Just wish I could have been closer. Love you, dear friend.
