Thank you Arleen for all of your hard work and dedication to all of the Little Shelter dogs and cats. I enjoyed spending time with you and talking about our families. You were such a loving mom to “Clara”, and you will be missed by many.

You accomplished so much during your journey on Earth with your friends, animals, your family, and disabled children. I still remember all of your advice to me when I started working and I will forever appreciate your help. You will always be in my heart until we can meet again. Praying for you and your family. You will always be missed. I will always remember your angelic, smiling face.

My dear friend Arleen, I hope you are resting peacefully now. You are one of the most dedicated, hard working person I know. You put your heart and soul into everything you did whether it was your beautiful family, politics or caring for animals. We shared a lot of good memories and had a lot of good laughs. You were a beautiful person, inside and out. Rest in peace.

So kind and compassionate. Your smile always made everyone feel welcome and appreciated from the volunteers to the staff . Your heart was put into everything you did over the years at Little Shelter . I’ll always have memories when you were walking Clara you would stop me when I was with a dog to find out all about them , their name and where they came from .,you really cared so much . You would say “she is the cutest and will find a home soon I just know it .“. May peace and love surround you .❤️ you will be missed .

I am so heartbroken hearing of this. I spoke to Arleen for many years over the phone when buying raffle tickets to support Little Shelter. Arleen’s smile, intense passion for life, and love for people and animals was a gift like no other. Arleen was an
‘Angel’ on earth!
