Arthur J. Reilly- Arthur Joseph Reilly of Commack, LI, age 90, passed away on December 13th at home. He was born in Brooklyn to Marie and Thomas Reilly, attended St. Brigid’s School, Brooklyn Technical High School, and Pace University. He was a Veteran of the US Navy. For many years an employee of Biddle Purchasing Company of New York, and it’s former President. Founder of Insiders Buying Service, Inc, a founder of the Cystic Fibrosis Children’s Fund, and a founder and board member of the Commack Community Association. President of LI Chapter Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation, and a Tin Can Sailor. He was a lifelong fisherman, community advocate, and avid antiquity collector. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Mary, his children Maureen (Ed), Arthur Jr., Robert, Dolores, Paul, and Kevin (Marla), eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, his brother Thomas (Martha) and his sister Carol. He was preceded in death by his children John and Patricia.

 

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to The Salvation Army.
