I’m so sorry that I have only just now found out about Uncle Auggys passing. I’m so sorry for lose Aunt Ray Ray. đź«‚ I know you loved him so so much. I could always see the difference between you and Uncle Auggy and grandma and grandpa. Please send my condolences to the rest of your family.
I haven’t seen or spoken to my Uncle Auggy in many years. I do have many fond memories of Uncle Auggy, he was a very kind and gentle man. Uncle Auggy and Aunt Ray Ray Ray would come to my birthday in June and it would be a big BBQ. Uncle Auggy would be one of the few people that could calm Grandpa Andy and Grandma down when the pair would always end up fighting.
When I had entered Air Force JROTC, we did a thing where you could purchase a brick, especially if you were in the military you would put the name, rank, branch etc on it. Uncle Auggy has one at the Pickens County Court house in SC. I’m so proud of his service to be remembered on that wall.
