November 23, 1952 ~ March 17, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Brian Maguire on March 17, 2026.

Born on November 23, 1952, Brian lived a life defined by warmth, compassion, resilience, and an unwavering love for those around him. He was the kind of person who made an immediate and lasting impression not through grand gestures, but through his genuine kindness, his easygoing nature, and the way he made everyone feel seen and valued. His laughter was truly unforgettable, full of life and contagious, and it had a way of lifting the spirits of anyone lucky enough to be near him.

Brian carried himself with a lighthearted, jovial spirit that never dimmed, even in the face of life’s greatest challenges. He had a natural ability to find humor in everyday moments and to bring joy into the lives of others without even trying. Whether he was joking around, sharing stories, or simply spending time with loved ones, Brian made life feel fuller, brighter, and more meaningful.

At the center of Brian’s world was his family. He loved deeply and unconditionally, always putting others before himself and offering steady support, comfort, and encouragement. His devotion to his family was evident in everything he did, and the bond he shared with those he loved was truly special. He was a source of strength, a source of laughter, and a constant presence of love.

Brian’s life was also marked by quiet courage and perseverance. Even during difficult times, he faced each day with grace, strength, and a determination to keep moving forward. He showed those around him what it meant to live with heart, to cherish each moment, and to never lose your sense of humor or your capacity for love.

Those who knew Brian will remember him not only for the joy he brought into their lives, but for the kindness he showed, the memories he helped create, and the lasting impact he left on their hearts. He had a way of making people feel at home, and his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled.

While we are heartbroken by this loss, we are also incredibly grateful for the time we had with him and for the love he gave so freely. His spirit will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love that continues to surround us.

Brian is survived by his adoring wife Maria; children Jennifer, Leanna and Thomas; and son-in-law Devon. He is survived by six brothers and sisters: Neil, Dennis, Bruce, Diane, Marty & Jerry; and seven grandchildren: Michael, Gavin, Sienna, Adrian, Julian, Christian & Valentino. He also will be missed by his in-laws and many nieces and nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Kristie, sister Rosemarie and brother Jack.

Brian will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Spring of Tampa Bay, on behalf of Work For Peace — which was created in memory of Brian’s daughter Kristie. Link here: https://everloved.com/life-of/brian-maguire/donate
