Higgins – Brian P., native of County Downpatrick, Ireland; of Hauppauge, NY; and Naples, FL. Born April 27, 1941, passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Brian (Tara), Michael (Jennie), Sean (Alexandra) and Christopher (Ashley). Cherished Pa Pa of Liam, Jack, Kerri, Addison, Sean Jr., Emily and Charlie. Dear brother of Betty (Jimmy) Devine, Doreen (the late Gerald) Laverty, Patricia (Gordon) McMillen and Briege (Al) Bachner. Brian was respected and loved by all. Reposing at the Branch Funeral Home, 190 E. Main St., Smithtown, Thursday, 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass Friday, 10:30 am, at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Smithtown. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Good Shepherd Hospice. www.branchfh.com

Brian was always so kind and caring. He always asked how your day was going and how you were. I watched how much he was admired by his employees. He was a real gentlemen and i am blessed to have met him on my journey in life. We know he is happy and young again he is home. Peace to his family for he will be missed here on earth but will always be with you.
