It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bryan R. Szczurowski, of Nesconset, New York. Bryan, age 40, passed away on August 5, 2021, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Bryan is survived by his beloved wife, Amanda, his two beautiful daughters, Celona and Elora, his devoted parents, Robert and Linda, his loving mother-in-law Debbie Perciballi, brothers Marc (wife Charlotte) and Eric (wife Lynn), and his sister Laura (husband Seamus).

Bryan was born on June 23, 1981 and grew up on Long Island, always excelling at both academics and sports. He was an avid soccer player and was on both the soccer and track teams at Commack High School. He attended the University at Albany where he double majored in finance and management and minored in English.

Bryan worked for Ameriprise Financial as a financial advisor and was the managing director of Kuttin Wealth Management. He was also a certified financial planner, certified funds specialist, certified annuity specialist, and registered financial consultant. His expertise allowed him to help thousands of families gain financial peace. Bryan had a passion for leadership and received many awards including the Achievement Conference Qualifier Award, the Mercury Award, the National Quality of Advice Award, and the President’s Recognition Award. In 2019, Bryan was recognized as one of Forbes Best-In-State Next-Generation Wealth Advisors.

Bryan will be remembered for his active participation in soccer and beach volleyball as well as his fervent devotion to the Manchester United Soccer League and Barcelona Soccer Club. Bryan was also a dedicated artist and had a particular gift for expressing beauty and his love for life through his art. Bryan had a generous spirit and volunteered for both the Juvenile Diabetes and Make-A-Wish Foundations.

Bryan will be remembered for his adventurous, competitive, hardworking, and persistent nature. He was known for his ability to take initiative and attain any goal he set out to achieve. He brought tenacity to everything he aimed to accomplish all the while maintaining a spirit of kindness and love for everyone he encountered.

Bryan was well-known for his outgoing personality and generosity; he always put others first and could be relied on to help those in need. His greatest source of pride was his wife and daughters. He loved spending time with his family in Hawaii, Disney World, and watching movies at home. He will be remembered for his humor, his dedication to his family and friends, and his steadfast love for his wife and daughters.

Wake services will be at the Branch Funeral Home, 190 E Main Street, Smithtown, NY 11787, on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 2-4 PM and from 7-8 PM.

A funeral Mass will be held at Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 280 E Main Street, Smithtown, NY, 11787, on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 9:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to this college fund for Bryan’s daughters, Celona and Elora.
