Carie C. Kelly

carie kelly

Carie Corrine Kelly (nee Sarrapede) could be described in a single word: fiery. She fought a long battle with cancer in the same way that she lived her life, with ferocity and a fearlessness that was unmatcheded.

Born on May 26, 1976, Carie was a lifelong resident of Long Island and a proud graduate of Farmingdale High School (Once a ‘Daler, always a ‘Daler). She married her husband Tom on September 25, 2010, and together they built a beautiful life in Commack, welcoming their son, Thomas Charles Junior, in August of 2012.

As a wife and mother, Carie found her calling. Devoted to “her boys,” she chose to stay at home, dedicating her time, energy and talents to her family. An avid member of the Commack Schools PTA, Carie flourished in her role as a mom. From soccer games to epic birthday parties and all the small moments in between, Carie cherished every second.

She leaves behind legions of family and friends who will miss her even as they share her stories. Her fun loving nature, infectious laugh, and thirst for adventure will live on in those who loved her.
