I think we were about eleven years old when we met, and then we were together again at St. JohnΓÇÖs. He was one of the kindest people I have ever known, always ready to listen and offer support. So very saddened to hear of CarlΓÇÖs passing. He was such a wonderful man. He was a mentor and dear friend of my husband, Mike Venturini. We enjoyed CarlΓÇÖs company at many business and family occasions. He lit up a room with his humor, easy-going friendliness and smile….and helped to keep all the Avis old-timers in touch with his monthly lunches. Carl was a good friend, a good and descent man. Carl was a customer of mine when he worked for Avis. He was a tough and fair negotiator. He was more than my customer, he was my friend. I Will always remember and be in debt to him. He testified in my behalf when I had to pursue my company for commissions on sales to Avis. Rest in peace friend.
In my many many dealings with Carl throughout my many years at Avis, I remember only kindness , a true gentleman and a very wonderful boss. My daughter worked for him and thought he was a great man as well! Rest In Peace Carl�
