To the beautiful Micillo family we are so saddened by the passing of your wonderful husband father, and grandfather. He was a true gentleman, so sweet and kind, he will be missed.

I’m loving memory of your beloved father.

Since my early childhood, I have always held great affection for the Micillos.  When I was a child, they lived in the apartment above me.  Being friends with their children, I often spent time with them.  They always welcomed me and made me feel at home to the point that I would knock on their door as I was already entering.  Although many decades have passed, I still continue to have incredibly fond memories of Carl and will always think of him as being kind and fun-loving.  My favorite memory of Carl was when he posed an educational question to me as we sat around their dining room table.  I was probably no more than 6 or 7 years old.  He sat patiently by as he watched me try to figure out the answer to it.  I remember him saying that it took a while, but that he was happy and proud of me for finding the correct answer.  It made me beam… so much that I remember it even ’til this day.  I have many great memories of the Micillos which will forever remain in my heart.  I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of this wonderful man.  Sending my heartfelt sympathy and much love to Margaret, Maria, Robert, Roxane and their families. May Carl find happiness and peace in God’s warm and loving light.

Dear Margaret, I have been blessed to know you and Carl. You have embraced me with your love and family when I was so sorely in need of both. I can never repay your kindnesses, but please know whatever you need, I am there for you as you and Carl were there for me. I will miss Carl dearly. He was such a wonderful man and has left a beautiful legacy. Thank you for letting me be a part of it. All my love, Sharyn Hruska
