It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carmen L. Flamino, 83, of Bayside, Queens, who passed away on July 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Carmen lived a full and vibrant life. He built a respected career as a wealth advisor and Certified Financial Planner, guiding clients with the same integrity and care he brought to everything he did. Before that, he proudly served his country in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant in the Military Police.
Those who knew Carmen knew him for his great sense of humor — he had a way of lighting up a room and making everyone around him laugh. He was deeply spiritual and a man of faith – someone who would do anything he could to help those around him. He was also a man of many passions: an avid swimmer, a music lover with a passion for singing, and a spirited competitor at the craps and poker tables, where his charm and wit were always on full display.
Carmen was predeceased by his first wife, Teresa, beloved mother to their two sons, Marc (Fran) and Louis (Aida). He is survived by his adoring wife, Joan, with whom he shared 25 beautiful years of marriage.
A devoted husband and father, Carmen was also a loving stepfather to Jenna (Chad) and Andrew (Caileen). He was a cherished grandfather to Alexa, Kyle, AJ, Luca, Angelina, Jake, Ava, Maeve, Peter, and John, all of whom brought him tremendous joy and pride.
Carmen’s warmth, humor, and zest for life touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

HE was a real sweetheart of a person.
May he rest in eternal peace.
I was devastated to learn about the passing of Carmen.
Carmen and I played football together, I was the quarterback and he was the strongest and most inspiring running back on our team. Any success that we had directly goes back to his contribution to the team.
I will always remember his infectious smile and how he brought joy and happiness to all those around him. It was my pleasure to be in this company He will be truly missed and thought of often.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Carmen’s family during this very difficult time.

Carmen was a dear friend. He and my wife Jeanne lived diagonally across 25th Drive in St Mel’s parish. After his wife Teresa passed he was looking for something to occupy his time – therefore HCHS service on the Board. He also helped our family with financial
matters after my mother passed. He was proud of his sons and grandchildren and his second wife Joan. Always with a smile and good advice, he will be missed. May he rest in peace and be received into our Lord;’s loving embrace.

I will miss carmen as a wonderful man who was my friend for the past 20 plus years. Always fun. To be around,, always looking at the bright side of life even when the .market was going crazy.
He knew when to hold them and when to fold them. As sinatra said……carmen definitely did it his way and enjoyed every

Carmen, we will never forget you, he was a true gentleman, who would give you the shirt off his back. Having known Carmen for over 30 years, I learned a great deal from him and enjoyed every minute of it. Carmen always lit up a room with his wonderful smile, personality, jokes and stories. At Paine Webber, he had the ability to make everyone in the room laugh, even on the dark days. His great sense of humor always showed with his multitude of stories. Carmen always looked on the bright side of things and offered great advice with the market and life in general. Carmen was granted the honorary title of “Coach” at the Lincoln Harbor gym for his excellent coaching and advice. Carmen I will never forget our almost daily phone calls discussing the market and hearing your stories.
Nancy finally had the pleasure to meet Carmen and Joan, last Spring after only talking to Carmen on the phone over the years. It was an enjoyable and memorable experience meeting with Carmen and Joan in the city. Nancy always thought Carmen was so sweet and like a big teddy bear. Carmen, thanks for the memories and laughs. Rest in Peach Coach, see you on the other side.

Carmen was my next door neighbor growing up. We had backyard breakfasts, BBQ’s and I went to many a football game with his father and mine . His father was so proud of him. He told me I should meet Teresa’s sister Rosanne . He said he thought we would be great friends. Sixty five years later Rosanne and I are still dear friends. What a good judge of character he was. He was fun, and a great dancer and most importantly a good son. I hear his infectious laughter in my head right now. My condolences to Joan and her family.
This is a non profit organization in Hicksville, NY that works to save many animals from euthanasia in overcrowded shelters. The staff work selflessly and like Carmen, are endlessly generous with their time and spirit. I know these animals will appreciate this donation and his spirit lives on in them.
To Carmen’s family:
Carmen was my financial advisor for 25 years plus (UBS days)., he was a trusted advisor and what I remember the most was whenever he called my husband and I to discuss things., it also started off with “how’s the family” and of course a few laughs etc., before getting down to business. Know that the world is a little quieter now without Carmen in it., we are truly sorry for your loss.
