Riepe, Catherine of Nissequogue, NY Formerly of Merrick & Bronx, NY passed peacefully on December 11, 2018. Beloved Wife of the late Joseph for over 51 years. Loving & Devoted Mother of James (Jim Stewart) Riepe, Claire Riepe & the late Thomas Riepe. Adored Sister of Sr. Theresa Lynch, Sr. Loretta Lynch & Claire (the late John) McKenna. Fond Aunt of many nieces and nephews.Kitty was an accomplished nurse. She is a St. Vincent's School of Nursing Graduate (Class of '45), Supervising nurse of obstetrics at St. Francis Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. President of Sacred Heart Parish Over 50 Club, Merrick (1984- 2009)Active in working monthly events at the Merrick Senior Center. Reposing at Branch Funeral Home 190 E. Main St. Smithtown, NY 11787.Visitation Sunday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM.Funeral Mass 11:15 AM Monday at Sts. Philip & James R.C. Church.Entombment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.

Kitty was a wonderful neighbor for 30 years. We never saw her without a smile on her face! Our condolences to Jim, Claire, James and the rest of KittyΓÇÖs family. Wishing her eternal peace.
