Charles A. Lauria
February 24, 1933 – October 10, 2026
Charles A. Lauria, 93, passed away at home on October 10, 2026, surrounded by his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Charles loved nothing more than spending time with those he loved.
He was the beloved husband of Carol A. Lauria and loving father of Teresa M. Fitzpatrick, Charles G. Lauria (Jane), Robert G. Lauria, Brian G. Lauria, and Maria G. Clarke (Howard). He was the cherished grandfather of Kelly, Kathleen (Robert), Ashley, Rita (Joshua), Connor (Casey), Lindsey, Grace, Joan (Harry), Emma, Rose, Rebecca, Jacqueline, and Charles. He was also the adored great-grandfather of Ryleigh, Delaney, Hayden, Wesley, Luke, and Jack.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Vera and Frank Lauria, and his siblings, Frank Lauria (Jeannie), Rosemarie Artusa (Frank), and Joan Pisano (Vincent).
A proud United States Navy veteran who served during the Korean War, Charles was also an avid gardener and a devoted, loving presence in the lives of those who knew him. As the financial director at B.E.S.T. Learning Center, he became affectionately known as “Mr. Charlie.” Generations of students and their families will fondly remember his kindness and the Hershey’s Kisses he handed out at the end of the school day. These small gestures reflected the warmth and generosity he shared throughout his life.
Above all, Charles treasured his family. His love, comforting presence, and the memories they shared will remain in their hearts.
