Christopher Eric Byrnes, age 40, of Rocky Point, New York died Saturday, February 18, 2023. Christopher was born August 10, 1982 in Bay Shore, New York. Christopher is the husband of Breanna Byrnes. He is the loving son of Robert A.Byrnes and Valerie (Kutkiewicz) Byrnes. He was employed by Almar Plumbing, Queens, New York as a plumber. Christopher is the dear brother of Amanda Byrnes of Port Jefferson, New York, Vanessa Logan of Shoreham, New York, Joseph Byrnes of Miller Place, New York, Eric Byrnes of Rocky Point, New York and Mark Byrnes of Rocky Point, New York. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Religious services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 8:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Family and friends will meet at the Funeral Home at 9:30 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 for a closing prayer at 10:00 AM and we will go to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, New York together for burial. I’ll truly miss you Chris. I think about over the summer how we had barbecues and eating contests lol. getting up early in the morning to drive you to the train and picking you up late in the afternoon. I always enjoyed your sense of humor. Playing with the dogs running up and down the block with them. Daisy & Milo will miss you too.

Q: How did you meet Christopher?
A: When I was growing up Christopher lived down the street from me along with his brothers and sisters.. we all used to play all the time. I remember Chris as being the sweet one and the caring one.. as years past by, Chris entered my life again.. we talked everyday on messenger. We were each others support system at that time in our lives when we were both going through difficult times.. Chris would check on me everyday and listen to my problems and was always there when I needed to talk and vise versa.. we became pretty close at that time.. Chris was a very sweet, honest caring person.. I will never forget him.. a piece of him will always stay in my ♥ heart.. Christopher is with the angels now, where he would want to be… all my love Shannon Kane Burke❤️
