Connie Rubino, age 98, of Rocky Point, NY died Monday, September 15, 2014. Born October 14, 1915 in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Asunta (Fusco) Pisapia. She is survived by her loving daughter: Rory Rubino of Rocky Point, NY, sons: Anthony Rubino of West Hampton, NY, Richard Rubino (Winnie) of Brookline, MA, four cherished Grandchildren; Jacky Morrissey (Michael) of Groveland, Ma, Craig Rubino (Kara) of West Hartford, Ct, Jamie Moore (Jesse) of Newton, MA, and Ryan Rubino (Stephanie) of Baltimore, MD, and seven Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by her beloved Husband, Anthony Rubino. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Friday, September 19 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Monsignor William G. Breslawski Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale on Friday, September 19 at 11:30 am. Calling hours will be Thursday, September 18 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the North Shore Beach Property Owners Association PO Box 601 Rocky Point, NY 11778.   8. Whenever I spoke to my beloved mother Connie I would always end the conversation with “I love you” She would reply ” I love you more”. The first few times she said this I would reply “NO I love YOU more” She would reply “That’s impossible, wait until you have children then you’ll know” After that I never challenged her. I accepted her “I love you more” with gratitude. It became a family tradition and no one except her grandson Ryan challenged her with “NO I love YOU more” He kept this up until the day she passed. We all remember with fondness her signature phrase. I love you more and with God’s will we’ll all be saying it in heaven

  9. I still miss my Mom. It’s been 1 1/2 years since she passed and more than ever. I want to talk to her
