THE KINDEST, MOST LOVING AND COMPASSIONATE PERSON I HAVE EVER MET.
THAT WAS 50 YEARS AGO, 1 YEAR LATER I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU.
WE MARRIED ON VALENTINES DAY 1986, ALMOST 40 YEARS LATER, I LOVE YOU
AS MUCH NOW AS THEN. THANK YOU FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY AND YOUR
DEVOTION TO US. YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. ALL MY LOVE ALWAYS.
You should have never had to endure all you went through from the beginning, and I think you held on because you knew it wasn’t your time, and that maybe any of the multiple hospitals we went to would have been able to help.
Unfortunately, it was never the case, and although we had ups and downs, we tried to make the best of the time left we had with you through it all.
Dad, Georgie and I were there with you the whole time and I hope you know that we held out hope and prayed that you would get better and come home to us.
I’m sorry that never happened, and I’m sorry you had your quality of life severely diminished, and what should have been a long, carefree life of enjoying your grandchildren and retirement, tragically cut short by a healthcare system that doesn’t care enough for the health of underserved populations like women’s health, and senior citizens.
Despite all of that, the few times that you were able to be home and partake in regular life activities, we enjoyed your company and tried to take care of you ourselves the best we could.
We love you and will miss you every day that you are not here with us due to those terrible circumstances.
A proud faithful member of St. Anthony’s of Padua Church, Diane gave countless hours to parish activities and community events. Weather assisting at church functions, comforting a friend or lending a helping hand to a neighbor she was always ready to offer her time and heart.
Her warm smile and ever present willingness to help will be dearly missed by all.
Our sweet (aunt) Diane will always be remembered for her loving and caring ways. We will all miss you but will carry on with the kindness you exemplified. Wish we had more times together.
The best Mom and Grandma ever. You were truly beautiful inside and out Mom. We’ll be missing you every day. I’ll make sure our babies know how much you loved them. Thank you for loving our family so much and I’m grateful for the time we had together but wishing that you got to see my kids grow up just a little bit more. I know you’ll be watching over us and will keep talking to you. Hope you are with grandma and uncle Tony now and he’s making you laugh. Know your Dad must be giving you all the hugs and kisses. Say hi to them for me and please come visit us whenever you can.
