Dear Vi and Sal,I am just heart broken to hear about Frank. We know how hard he fought that terrible disease. I just can’t imagine your pain. I trust that God’s plan is perfect, but we often don’t know the why of it. Know that I hold you all in my prayers. God bless.
My deepest condolences to the Verdone family. Dr. Verdone was a sweet, genuine, caring man. Not to mention how thoughtful he was. I will always remember him.

I have known Frank peripherally, from the Long Island Optometric Community. I had the pleasure of a last chat about a year ago at the OCLI Day for Optometrists. He possessed inspiring fortitude and strength as the ravages of disease took his body. He was an inspiration to us all and we will miss him.

Our ALS Support Group lost a Favorite Son! Frank Verdone was a wealth of Knowledge & Compassion for other sufferers of a terrible disease. He Will Be Missed!

Frank’s beacon of light is an inspiration to all. He lived his faith daily, and gave generously of his time, wisdom, and various talents to everyone he encountered. He is our community’s George Bailey from It’s A Wonderful Life. We will miss him and promise to be there for his amazing family the way he was always there for us.
My family and I express our deepest condolences and are so sorry for your loss. When my mom was first diagnosed with ALS, almost two year ago, I called Frank who was referred to me by Cindy. In a bit of a frenzy and not knowing how to feel or who to turn to, Frank provided the type of support that not many were able to at that time, his voice compassionate and understanding. I had my dad and brother meet him right away for some support as well. May your soul fly free Frank, and may your beautiful family always feel that freedom. -the Romagosa family
