Edward Tkacsik

Edward Tkacsik, Jr., age 85, of Mount Sinai died Monday, January 29, 2018. Edward was born April 29, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Edward and the late Jenny (Slabodzian) Tkacsik, Sr. He was predeceased by his wife, Maureen in 1994. He was employed by City Of New York DEC as a Dock Worker. Edward was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by two sons: Paul Tkacsik of Rocky Point, NY and Danny Tkacsik of East Rockaway, NY, his sister: Marion Wohl of Florida and two grand children. Prayers will be offered 10:00 am on Friday, February 2 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, January 31 from 7-9 PM and Thursday, February 1 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
