Eileen E. Long, age 69, of Shoreham, New York died Monday, March 1, 2021. Eileen was born February 18, 1952 in Smithtown, New York. She is the daughter of the late Leonard and the late Elizabeth (O'Neill) Brentson. She was employed by Verizon, New York as a Sales Representative. She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel W. Long, her two loving children, Daniel S. Long of Miller Place, New York and Kathleen (Marcos) Ribeiro of Shirley, New York, one dear brother, Leonard Brentson of Miller Place, New York, and three cherished grandchildren, Harrison Long, Gunnar Ribeiro, and Evelyn Ribeiro. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Visiting hours will be Thursday March 4, 2021 from 3:00-8:00 PM. Religious services will be 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 4, 2021. New York State mandates for social distancing will be followed. Masks must be worn.
