Dearest Eileen, You have been a great and beloved wife to Joe. All the memories you have made together, raising a family, doctoring your patients and entertaining people with all your musical talents. I enjoyed all your shows. Now you are an Angel singing in the largest choir ever. My wish and hope for you. MAY THE CHOIRS OF ANGELS COME TO GREET YOU, MAY THEY SPEED YOU TO PARADISE. MAY THE LORD ENFOLD YOU IN HIS MERCY. MAY YOU FIND ETERNAL LIFE. One day we will all be reunited in Paradise, so I won’t say good bye to you. Instead I say: I’ll see you on the other side Eileen.

I felt I knew you thruMike & Claudia and all the stories.. .You had a wonderful life and a wondeful family. You had a fulfilling life and were a brilliant woman. Your husband loves you so much as well as your children. I’m so happy your bird made you so happy. He will always be with you!

She was a loving and caring mother and wife and friend to all while at the same time practicing medicine and mentoring hundreds of medical students.She demanded hard work and quality from the students at NYCOM but was also always there for them when they needed help. She took NYCOM to new levels. She will be missed by all who she touched over the years. May she rest in peace.

Dr. Eileen was not very tall but that didn’t stop her from being a giant within the profession of osteopathic medicine. She was able to develop a curriculum along with our mentor, Dr. Stanley Schiowitz, for of the Osteopathic Principles & Practices department, later renamed the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, department. In that time, she also developed a textbook, an encyclopedia of osteopathic medicine, participated in numerous professional activities, mentored many, including myself, and kept a warm and close relationship with the members of her family. Of all her accomplishments, I think that the greatest among them was the family. Her impact on the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine is indelible.
