TETA - Elizabeth, age 92, of Oceanside, CA, formerly of Port Washington, NY passed on September 3, 2014. Born February 25, 1922. Graduated from Jewlett Nursing School, served in the Army Nursing Corps as 2nd Lieutenant, served at Fort Houston and Philippines during WWII. Worked as a Nurse for her Uncle, Dr. Anthony Ressa for many years. St. Francis Hospital as a staff head nurse from 1970 to her retirement in 1993. Beloved Sister of Pat, Amato, Mary, Frances, Phyllis, the late Theresa, the late Madeline and the late Nicholas. Loving Aunt, Great-Aunt and Great-Great- Aunt. Reposing at Branch Funeral Home, 190 E. Main St., Smithtown, NY 11787. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Monday at St. Peter of Alcantara R.C. Church Port Washington, NY. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery.
