  9. I met Ellen in our knitting class and she became a treasured friend. She was such a warm and friendly person and I loved her dearly and will miss her immensely, especially her sense of humor. She was interested in so many things – knitting, pickleball, reading, beading , movies – she really had a zest for life! Rest in peace dear friend💚

  13. Barbara and I met Ellen at adult ed pickleball sessions and our good friend Jean. Our journey continued on to Bike Riding on long excursions having lunch and a cocktail. We laughed and struggled with every ride but had the best times. Continuing through Birthday celebrations, and pickleball parties. Ellen you will be missed and our time together was most memorable. Ee will meet you in heaven when the time comes and continue our adventurous journey.

  14. Our Monday afternoon Knitting and Crocheting class will be deeply saddened to learn that Ellen is no longer with us. Ellen was ALWAYS a bright, shining light in our close knit group. She was a warm, caring, truly compassionate, lovely person with a quick wit and always ready to lend a helping hand. Ellen was also very talented in all her endeavors she pursued. I will treasure the beaded bracelet she made for me forever. To Ellen’s family, please accept my most heartfelt condolences and remember to cherish and treasure all the beautiful memories of your wife and mother as now she will live fervently deep within your hearts forever.

  15. Ellen welcomed me into her life at the knitting class, we bonded over a baby sweater. She showed such generosity by sharing her countless gifts and cherished friendship. I will remember her energy, beautiful smile and witty ways, she will be truly missed.

  17. Ellen and I first met when our boys entered pre K in 1989. That was the beginning of a long and wonderful friendship that will be cherished forever. I am so grateful that we were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch on a beautiful, sunny day overlooking Northport Harbor in June. Your laugh, smile and the great conversations we would have will be forever etched in my memory. You were much loved and the memory of you will never fade. Rest in eternal peace my beautiful friend.

  19. Ellen always had a smile and a kind word to say to you when she saw you. She was so talented, creative and playful in a gentle way. We will all miss her in our Crochet/Knit Class in Smithtown. When I retired, Ellen made me a beautiful beaded necklace and earring set that I treasure more now than ever. She loved her family so much and lit up when she spoke of them. She was a dear friend who made this world a better place and will sorely be missed.
