Elsie Kearney

Elsie Kearney, age 98 of St. James, NY passed away peacefully in her home on September 12th surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas John. She was the beloved Mother of William (Jane), the late Thomas, Jr., and Gerard. She was a loving grandmother of Jennifer, Susan (Kevin), Carolyn (Mike), Allison, Colleen (Dave), and great grandmother to Michael, Jonathan, Dylan, Christopher, Aidan, Ryan, Ethan and Meaghan.

Elsie was born in New York City and spent her childhood in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn until 1972 when she moved to West Bay Shore on Long Island. Elsie worked as a supervisor in Central Records at New York Life Insurance Company until she retired in 1986. Elsie loved her family and enjoyed reading, shopping AND Dessert!!! She lived a long active life and will be greatly missed.
