You will be missed beyond measure and always in my heart. I will cherish every memory of you and everything you did for me. Thank you for being my sister, loving me, and being there. I prayed to God to have you and I’m praying to God to hold you tight. You were truly one of the special ones. My sweet baby sis go Rest In Peace, fly high and keep smiling. 3. My loving daughter my baby girl I’m going to miss you so much you are the light of my life you fill me with joy and happiness love your determination and perseverance through all you let nothing stop you you continue on with your test have fun make an impression on people I didn’t get to see you go you are an outstanding phenomenal young woman you shine and many people throughout your life you touch many hearts I love you my dear

  4. To my sister, thank you for being there whenever I needed help. Thank you for always being honest always cracking jokes about being beige people or how high yellow we both were.(lightskin ppl rule). Thank you for being you. I love you so much and will miss u dearly. You were the best sister i can ask for.

  5. For aunt Entebbe. I appreciate all the great times and countless great memories that was shared when I was growing up. From basically cheating on my homework and having her basically do the world social studies homework for me, to ordering Papa John’s on the weekends downstairs. Even when she was going through own challenges she always managed to give something back to a world that didnt really care much about anything. She was an exceptional scholar, a diverse hobbyist, an animal lover (mainly cats), a caregiver, and all around great aunt. I’m not the best at these so that’s all I can write. Appreciate everything she did. Take Care.

  6. candleMy deepest condolences to the family. Entebbe was called home for a reason. I will always remember the love in your smile.

  10. From the first time we met over 16 years ago I could feel your special soul.
You were reserved at first but over the years I saw you were such a devoted daughter, sister and Aunt. It was always a pleasure when we would have our spontaneous chats and catch up. Thank you for being you, you were someone I truly admired. I hope you find serenity and joy doing God’s work on the other side.
    Your neighbor & family friend,
    Apryl

  14. Entebbe,

Although we never met in person, or at least I don’t remember if we did, I am so thankful that I had a chance to chat with you briefly on Facebook. You were trying to figure out how to get your pictures off your phone. I will forever be grateful for the connection we had that day. It looks like God has gained another angel. Say hello to all of our family members for me, especially Mama Frances, Uncle Charles, and your dad’s twin which happens to my dad. You will forever be apart of our lives. Love Cousin Rei.

  15. candleDearest Entebbe,
You will always be a treasure in our hearts. The beautiful memories of your love for others, always smiling, a sense of humor always making others laugh, and a compassion for others that went beyond and above.
Rest in Peace. Love Aunt Marie, Myra and Justin

  16. candleGone from our sight but never from our heart .Comfort comes from knowing that people have made the same journey. And solace comes from understanding you are not alone and how you will learn to sing again.
For prayer is hope put to the test. And hope is faith is what is best. Your basket of grieve is put to the test but Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

  17. YOUR A AWESOME YOUNG MAN, I CAN JUST IMAGINE YOU AND SISTER WAS ONE OF BRIGHT LIGHTS IN YOUR AUNT LIFE KIND,SMART, THOUHGTFUL AND CONSIDERATE. AND THE LOVE YOU AND YOUR SISTER HAVE FOR YOUR AUNT WILL NEVER NEVER DIE !!

  18. candleTo the family:
With the deepest of sympathy we are truly sorry for this great loss that you are experiencing. We pray that you find comfort in the Lord as he holds you in the palm of his hands during this difficult time. Matthew 5:4 (NIV) “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” We pray increased strength, comfort and the peace that surpasses all understanding over your family.

  19. My Dear Entebbe,
Thank you for your generosity, gentleness, and genuineness. You always made me feel welcomed and loved and it saddens me to know we will not be able to create new memories. Please know you may be gone physically, but you’ll never be forgotten. Your life will continually be celebrate through the ones that love and cherish you. Rest peacefully…

    Love you,
    Vanessa G

  22. Entebbie,
My heart breaks knowing that I will never see you again. You were one of the first to welcome me into the Burton family circle. You treated me as I was your own blood. That is a gift that I have cherished from day one. You were so vibrant; full of love, laughter, and jokes. Watching you with Kyeshia and Kenjii, they way you guy always cracked on each was hysterical for me to see. You have one of the brightest lights that has ever shone in this world. Now, our world for the moment is a little bit darker, but with the memories and love that your family and friends has for you, we will make sure your light never extinguishes. I pray that the peace that may have eluded you in the physical form, you find in the spiritual. You will forever be in my heart and my prayers. You left a mark on this world that won’t soon be forgotten. While your time with us wasn’t as long as we would’ve liked, it remains a blessed period in our lives because you were there for it. For you to be called home so soon, it’ll hurt us for a while, but we will smile knowing that you are in a happier place, with never ending laughter and smiles. We here will continue to keep your name and memory alive. Love you Entebbie

  23. Entebbe, I will always remember and love you in my heart. Rest in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Beautiful Angel Rest In Peace🌷

  28. candleEntebbe, this breaks my heart. When Buffy got sick, we talked about you. She loved you like a sister and you followed her to heaven days later. You touched so many lives.
Sending love and prayers to all of Entebbe’s family and friends. The world is a bit bleaker without her.

  29. I just reached out to you to catch up and find a tribute on Facebook. I was Entebbe’s roommate I believe the summer of 2000 in college. We learned sign language that summer from friends we had that were deaf. I’m still friends with them both to this day. We would continue to sign on campus and people would get so angry because they didn’t know what we were saying. We got a kick out of it! That was a summer of fun! Lots of laughs and beautiful memories. Entebbe shines from the inside out! Always! I remember one time we waxed above her tips and left a white Skin mustache. We laughed so hard! She is part of the big memories I have from Marshall U. I truly believe she is still lighting up hearts of many throughout existence. I love you lady! Love Julia
