Alaimo, Eva Maria(Sancimino) of Saint James, NY, former long-time resident of Sound Beach, NY, passed peacefully into the Lords loving arms, in the early morn of Christmas Eve, December 24, 2017.Devoted wife of the late Philip Alaimo, Jr. for 62 years. Loving, dedicated, faith filled Mother of Philip Alaimo III(Linda), Anthony(Gina), James (Carolyn Greco) and her loving, devoted daughter, Maria Alaimo-Sehne(Michael).Dedicated, caring Grandma to Kristin, Philip IV, Nicole, Damian, Danielle-Mary, James and Brittany, and loved beyond measure by her grandson, Joseph, 'Joe Joe DiMaggio' and her 'Devoted Caregiver', her Granddaughter, Gabriella Sophia.Blessed 'Great Grandma' of Ella, Helen, Philip V, John, Anderson Joseph, Kylee, Jackson, Anthony James, Logan, Landon, Mia Nicole, Theresa Rose, and her 'Sunday morning companions', Gavin and Grace Mary.Eva dedicated her life to the service of others. She was an active parishioner at St. Louis DeMontfort Parish, in her role as Religious Education Coordinator. Eva also worked as a Home Health aide, caring for others so that families could care for themselves. Eva Maria was a true servant of the Lord she loved. She fed the hungry, consoled the grieving, visited the sick and comforted the lonely who walked beside her as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend.Reposing at Branch Funeral Home: 190 East Main St. Smithtown, NY 11787. Visitation Wednesday, December 27, 2017 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Philip & James Church, 1 Carow Place, St. James, NY 11780.
