Evelyn passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, at her home in Massapequa, New York, surrounded by her loved ones. Evelyn was the beloved wife of John Conlon for 62 years. She is survived by her five children: Catherine (Eddie), Bernadette (Mike), John, Michael (Wendy), and Steven. She was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to Kiersten (Pat), Samantha (Ryan), Hannah, Ally, Emily, Max, Kyran, Avery, Sienna, Declan, Callum, and Baby Jones. Evelyn was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 6, 1937, and was one of ten children. She is survived by her sisters, Amy and Alberta.
Evelyn was an awesome cook. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, doing crossword puzzles, and enjoying an occasional glass of wine. Above all, her family was the most important part of her life, and the many memories, family traditions, and love she shared with them will always be treasured.
Rest easy, Mom. We love you and will miss you always. ❤️ And, in your own words, “We’ll see you when we see you.”
