Florence A. Joyce was born on April 22, 1935 and raised in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of 21 she met the love of her life, Michael S. Joyce. They married on September 8, 1956. On August 18, 1957 she gave birth to her first born daughter JoAnn and then her second born Diane on May 27, 1960. Florence and Michael moved to Long Island in 1962 where they bought their first home and raised a family. Florence worked in many different occupations throughout her life, but when asked what she did for a living, she said she was a full time wife and mother. Family was everything to her.
Beloved wife of the late Michael. Loving mother of JoAnn and Bill Torres and Diane Binetti. Devoted grandmother of Danielle and Joe Fortune, Robert and Laura Piervinanzi and Matthew Binetti. Cherished great grandmother of Nate, Avery and Ava.

I can not begin to count the wonderful memories of your Mom and Dad ,over our years of friendship at Windcrest. We also enjoyed Sunny Florida for a few years. I m sorry to hear about your mon. I do believe she is smiling now she is with her Mike again. He was a gem.
